Description

Vintage wooden weaving floor loom from the Kessenich Loom Company in Michigan from the 1980s. Wear to wood and rust on metal from being stored outside. Sample project in some photos, has been removed.

Kessenich Loom Company's standard foot loom: It's reputation has been built on being strong and heavy enough for rug weaving. The loom has easy access to the pin and chain tie-up system. Treadles are hinged at the front and are separated sufficiently to ease treadling actions. Heddles are 12" in length to assure a large shed. Extra space is allowed for storage of unused heddles in shaft frame to avoid interference with the full weaving width of the loom. The beater bar is extra heavy. A steel pin is used to stabilize leg arms. Loom is collapsible for storage and moving, even while warped.
Standard four shaft foot looms from Kessenich can be repaired and replacement parts are available.
45" weaving width - Can make large rugs or blankets, or smaller pieces like scarves.
Four harnesses. Six Pedals. Reed marked "Nilus Leclerc".

This is not cheap to ship. Shipping across the country can be upwards of a few thousand dollars if you want it rushed expedited shipped to your front door and set up, and shown how to use it. It will be less if you're willing to pick it up at your nearest shipping terminal or if you pick up yourself.
We're selling this at a fraction of the price of a new model. We aren't professional weavers and right now the loom is set up as a conversation piece and you may want to replace parts and do heavy cleaning.
This is an extensive process to ship including designing and building a crate, and organizing freight shipping.

We recommend you bring a truck and/or trailer or rent one when you get here. We're located in Central California.
Our S&H costs are for hiring us to take care of the shipping and handling.
