    is a very nice
    Horizontal Warping Mill
    for weaving.
    Horizontal warping makes winding those long warps much easier. This floor warping mill has a 3 yard circumference and is very stable. It was custom made by a wood craftsman for an art school classroom. It has an ingenious design which allows the mill to be broken down quickly without tools for flat storage when not in use.
    Re-assembly from flat storage does also not require any tools; just slide well-fitted wood joints together and secure with two tapered wedges.
    Warping mill is made of high quality Douglas fir with a nice reddish patina. Central spindle is maple. It is quite handsome. Assembled it is approximately 48 inches wide and 45 inches tall. The 120-inch assembled circumference handles long warps and is at a comfortable working height. Mill has one lease bar. Spins wonderfully smooth and quiet. It is attractive and interesting enough to leave set-up in a studio or shop.
    Good used condition overall with solid functioning parts. Lease board has a sliver gone on one end (see photographs) that is cosmetic only and does not affect use or performance.
    The mill is very solid and stable when set up and weighs about 27 pounds. It is not hard to move physically because the weight is reduced when the parts are disassembled. I have it for local sale from Portland, Oregon, because I can't figure out how to ship it. If you can figure it out and are willing to pay shipping I'm willing to give it a try. I
