Rigid Heddle Looms - Great for the beginner weaver!
Very easy to use. Thread it up and be weaving in minutes.  Ideal for making fabric,  cushions, table mats, wall hangings.
Weave up to width of the loom.
Warp capacity about 3 yards of medium weight fabric.
Included with loom
7.5 dent reed, 2 stick shuttles, two table clamps, a warp peg and sley-reed hook.
Second Heddle Option: Having a second heddle allows you the flexibility to weave double width, double layer, double density fabrics as well as allowing you to do exciting patterns and techniques like "Theo Moorman".   Two reeds the same size is required to double weave.

Floor Stand.
Weave in Comfort.  You can move it to your favorite chair.  Easier to weave compared to the kitchen table.   -  One stand that will fit the 16", 24" or 32" Loom.
Table Stand
With this stand your Rigid Heddle Loom is in an upright position which is very comfortable when weaving tapestries or using other hand-manipulated techniques. The angle of the stand can be adjusted to suit.  The kit includes adjustable stand with rubber feet and extra side posts to hold the reed in place.   Assembly required.  Compatible with 16" 24" or 32" Ashford Rigid Heddle Loom.
Loom Freedom Roller
Quick and simple to attach
, this additional front roller gives you the freedom to weave longer lengths of fabric and the freedom to weave with thick weft yarns, all the while keeping the optimum sheds. Now you can weave double width projects with ease, weave rag or rya knot rugs longer and thicker, weave with super thick yarns, and weave multiple projects without cutting and re-leashing the warp.   Freedom roller cannot be used with the Loom Stand, it is designed to use on the table top.
Warping Pegs
Allows
Indirect Warping.  Loom has holes drilled in the bottom of the rails so you can use your loom as a warping frame for the indirect warping method.   There are 14 pegs included in the set, this will allow you to choose a variety of warp lengths. Some benefits of indirect warping are the flexibility to use one thread of one color, it saves space, even warp lengths, better tension control.
EXTRA HEDDLES
If you wish to double weave, you will need two reeds of the same size. Your loom comes with one 7.5 dent reed to get you started. Reeds are sold separately.

use with Thick, lumpy yarns.
7.5 dent
use with thick or fuzzy yarns, brushed mohair and worsted weight yarns.
10 dent,
use for medium weight yarns, like sport or DK.
12.5 or 15 dent,
use for thin warp yarns, fine work. Lace yarn or fine cotton.
Variable dent reed
This allows mix and matching of sections for creative warps on the Ashford Rigid Heddle Looms.   Includes a selection of 5 and 10cm (2" and 4") sections of 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10, 12.5 and the 15dpi. Simply remove the top rail to change sections and have fun!
Ashford looms and stands are made in New Zealand.  Ships as a kit.   Includes good instructions for assembly.  1 year warranty against manufacture defects.
